Responsibilities
- Architect and Develop: Design, develop, and maintain complex enterprise-level applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- System Optimization: Lead efforts to optimize existing systems for scalability, performance, and security, ensuring high availability.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, business analysts, and subject matter experts, to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Security Compliance: Ensure all software solutions adhere to strict federal and state security standards and compliance regulations.
- Agile Methodology: Participate in agile ceremonies (sprints, stand-ups) to deliver high-quality software in an iterative fashion.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience in a corporate or government environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java or C#, with experience in SQL databases and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Frameworks: Strong understanding of enterprise frameworks such as .NET Core or Spring Boot.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team setting.
- Certifications: PMP or relevant cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) are a plus.
