Responsibilities
- Manage official documentation and maintain confidential records in compliance with government protocols
- Process payroll and financial transactions with weekly disbursement accuracy
- Coordinate inter-departmental communications and public inquiries
- Prepare detailed reports and statistical analyses for city council reviews
- Oversee office operations including inventory management and equipment maintenance
- Assist in budget preparation and expenditure monitoring
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and municipal regulations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years experience in government or administrative support roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government databases
- Strong knowledge of Indiana municipal regulations and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
- U.S. citizenship and Indiana residency required
- Valid Indiana driver's license
