Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize confidential government documentation with strict compliance protocols
- Coordinate cross-departmental communications and stakeholder meetings
- Process public records requests and maintain accurate digital filing systems
- Support budget tracking and procurement documentation for assigned departments
- Assist in grant application preparation and compliance reporting
- Conduct research and compile data for policy initiatives
- Represent agency at public forums with professionalism and cultural sensitivity
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience in government/public sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Valid North Carolina driver's license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong knowledge of public records laws and FOIA regulations
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
