Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies for government digital assets and public portals.
- Optimize HTML structure and JSON-LD markup to improve search engine rankings and rich snippet visibility.
- Conduct technical audits to ensure website speed, security, and WCAG accessibility compliance.
- Analyze web traffic data to identify trends, optimize user experience, and report on performance metrics.
- Collaborate with developers and content creators to implement on-page and off-page SEO best practices.
- Stay updated on Google algorithm updates and government digital accessibility standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in SEO, preferably within the government or public sector.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with a strong understanding of JSON data structures.
- Strong understanding of schema markup and technical SEO fundamentals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
