Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of IT system analysis, design, and implementation for city-wide applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with all state and federal government regulations.
- Conduct thorough system performance testing and optimization to enhance user experience.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and junior staff.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee contract deliverables for external IT services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in IT systems analysis or software engineering.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and modern web technologies (React, Angular).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident eligible for government security clearance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
