In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying funding opportunities and securing the capital necessary to sustain our vital community programs. You will work closely with program leadership to align our strategic goals with the interests of our donors.

Responsibilities
- Research and identify new funding opportunities from federal, state, and private foundations.
- Write compelling, concise grant proposals, including executive summaries and budget narratives.
- Develop and manage the organization's grant calendar and submission schedules.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with funding agencies and stakeholders.
- Prepare required grant reports and ensure strict compliance with donor terms.
- Collaborate with program staff to gather accurate data and success metrics.
- Assist in the development of long-term fundraising strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Policy, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven track record of securing grants, preferably within the non-profit or public sector.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong research abilities and familiarity with grant databases (e.g., Foundation Directory Online).
- Ability to meet strict deadlines without compromising quality.
- Experience with 501(c)(3) organizations or government grant cycles is highly desirable.
