Are you a persuasive storyteller with a passion for securing resources? The Coastal Bend Educational Alliance is looking for a Senior Grant Writer to join our team on a Direct Hire basis. In this pivotal role, you will identify funding opportunities, craft compelling narratives, and secure the financial support needed to drive our mission forward in Corpus Christi.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research to identify relevant federal, state, and private funding opportunities aligned with our organizational goals.
- Write clear, persuasive, and accurate grant proposals, including narrative sections, budgets, and supporting documentation.
- Manage the entire grant lifecycle, from initial inquiry to submission and post-award reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with program staff and leadership to gather necessary data and ensure accurate budgeting.
- Build and maintain relationships with funding organizations and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Administration, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, or non-profit administration.
- Proven track record of securing funding from government agencies and private foundations.
- Expertise in Grants.gov and federal application processes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
