Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and secure funding opportunities from government agencies, private foundations, and corporate sponsors.
- Compose high-quality, persuasive grant proposals, narrative reports, and letter of inquiries.
- Manage the complete lifecycle of grants, from initial research to final reporting and compliance.
- Analyze funding trends and develop strategies to align organizational programs with funder priorities.
- Collaborate with program staff and executive leadership to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
- Maintain a detailed calendar of grant deadlines and submission requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, or non-profit development.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven track record of successfully securing grants and meeting fundraising targets.
- Strong research skills with the ability to interpret complex funding guidelines.
- Proficiency in grant management software (e.g., Fluxx, Foundant) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
