Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research to identify and evaluate potential grant opportunities from federal, state, and private foundations.
- Write compelling, error-free proposals, narratives, and budgets that align with specific funder requirements.
- Manage the entire grant lifecycle, including intake, development, submission, and post-award reporting.
- Collaborate with program staff and leadership to align grant objectives with organizational goals.
- Track grant deadlines and maintain detailed records of funding sources and submission history.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in grant writing, fundraising, or nonprofit development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Public Administration, or a related field (equivalent experience accepted).
- Deep understanding of the grant application process and familiarity with Grants.gov and other research databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
