Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research to identify, analyze, and prioritize local, state, and federal grant opportunities aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
- Write clear, concise, and persuasive grant proposals, including executive summaries, narratives, and budgets.
- Collaborate with program directors and finance teams to gather necessary data and ensure budget accuracy.
- Manage the entire grant lifecycle, from initial submission to reporting and compliance, ensuring all deliverables are met on time.
- Build and maintain relationships with funders and stakeholders to increase organizational visibility and credibility.
- Develop and maintain a database of potential donors and track submission metrics to optimize future strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Administration, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in grant writing, fundraising, or proposal development within the non-profit or public sector.
- Demonstrated track record of securing funding from government agencies, private foundations, and corporations.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data into compelling narratives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software (e.g., Fluxx, SurveyMonkey Apply).
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for stakeholder meetings.
