Responsibilities
- Research and identify new grant opportunities from federal, state, and private foundations that align with our organizational goals.
- Write clear, persuasive, and accurate grant proposals, narratives, and reports that effectively communicate our impact.
- Manage the entire grant lifecycle, including pre-award planning, submission, and post-award compliance and reporting.
- Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary data and success metrics for reports.
- Build and maintain relationships with funders and stakeholders to ensure high retention rates.
- Track deadlines and maintain a master calendar for all grant activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Non-Profit Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in grant writing, fundraising, or non-profit development.
- Strong research skills with the ability to analyze funding trends and identify high-potential prospects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software (e.g., Fluxx, SurveyMonkey Apply).
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and strict deadlines.
