Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential funding sources, including government agencies, private foundations, and corporate sponsors.
- Develop comprehensive grant proposals, including executive summaries, project narratives, budgets, and timelines.
- Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary data and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage the entire grant lifecycle, from initial research to post-award reporting and compliance.
- Track deadlines and submission requirements to ensure zero missed opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with funders and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) in grant writing, proposal development, or fundraising.
- Strong research skills with the ability to analyze funding agency guidelines and tailor applications accordingly.
- Exceptional written communication skills, including grammar, style, and editing.
- Ability to translate technical and programmatic details into clear, compelling narratives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software (e.g., Fluxx, Foundant).
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Non-Profit Management, or a related field is preferred.
