Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment, including dump trucks, rollers, and excavators, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, grading, and paving to support infrastructure projects.
- Assist in traffic control and road maintenance activities to ensure public safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment at various job locations.
- Collaborate with crew leaders and engineers to execute projects accurately and on time.
- Inspect work areas for potential hazards and report maintenance needs immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid Driver's License (Class B or CDL preferred but not mandatory).
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Experience with hand tools and basic power equipment is a strong plus.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols and procedures.
