Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties including street sweeping, snow removal, and pothole repair.
- Operate heavy and light equipment, including jackhammers, rollers, and sweepers.
- Set up and maintain traffic control zones, including flagging and signage.
- Assist in construction projects, grading, and excavation activities.
- Ensure all work areas adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid New Mexico Class C Driver’s License (or ability to obtain one).
- Basic knowledge of construction and public works equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Physical fitness required for manual labor tasks.
