Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties including excavation, trenching, and loading/unloading materials.
- Operate and maintain heavy and light construction equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist in the repair, maintenance, and installation of public infrastructure such as sidewalks, curbs, and drains.
- Ensure all work sites comply with OSHA safety standards and departmental regulations.
- Clear debris, brush, and snow from public rights-of-way as required.
- Perform manual tasks including digging, hauling, and operating hand tools.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid Arizona Class D Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of performing strenuous outdoor labor in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures is a plus.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as project demands require.
