Key Duties:
Our Laborers play a crucial role in municipal maintenance. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure our streets, sidewalks, and public facilities remain in top condition.
Responsibilities
- Assist with road maintenance, repair, and resurfacing projects.
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment (after certification).
- Paint street markings, traffic signs, and curb lines.
- Perform manual labor including digging, hauling, and loading materials.
- Clear debris, snow, and ice from public walkways and roadways.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work site in compliance with OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physical stamina to perform strenuous manual labor for long shifts.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred but not always required.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions and flexible schedules.
