As a Senior IT Systems Analyst, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring our state systems remain robust, secure, and efficient.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex system requirements and translate them into technical specifications for state-level applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable IT infrastructure to support government operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and government stakeholders.
- Perform system troubleshooting, performance tuning, and security audits to ensure compliance with state regulations.
- Document technical processes and create technical manuals for internal staff.
- Lead the implementation of new software solutions and oversee system migrations.
- Monitor system health and respond to critical incidents to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Analysis or a similar IT role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, or other relevant programming languages.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Understanding of government compliance standards (e.g., FERPA, HIPAA) is highly preferred.
- Valid California Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation.
