Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-wide cybersecurity frameworks and policies
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on federal systems
- Lead incident response operations for security breaches and cyber threats
- Develop security awareness training programs for federal employees
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies on cybercrime investigations
- Monitor network security using SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Ensure compliance with NIST, FISMA, and DHS security standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise information security
- Expert knowledge of network security protocols and encryption standards
- Experience with federal security compliance frameworks (FISMA/NIST)
- Active Secret security clearance (must obtain within 90 days)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and vulnerability scanners
