Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective technical specifications and system solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement software applications, databases, and network infrastructure upgrades.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support to county staff and end-users across various departments.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure IT projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Conduct system performance tuning, security audits, and data migration activities.
- Document technical processes and create user manuals to facilitate knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent years of experience in a government setting).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or database management.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or SQL.
- Strong understanding of web technologies, cloud platforms, and network security protocols.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
