As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining our county's digital infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations for over 500 employees. You will be the first point of contact for technical inquiries, providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to ensure business continuity and user satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, and in-person for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security protocols in Active Directory.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems, escalating to Tier 3 specialists when necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, solutions, and change requests.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and improve service delivery.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical certification (CompTIA A+ preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office Suite.
- Experience with Active Directory and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
