Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the agency's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and VPN connectivity.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect federal data systems in compliance with NIST standards.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, and application issues.
- Conduct system upgrades, patch management, and server maintenance to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy new IT solutions.
- Document technical processes and maintain accurate inventory of hardware and software assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent technical experience).
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in IT systems administration or network engineering.
- Experience with federal IT environments, FISMA compliance, and security clearances.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Cisco networking, and virtualization technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Ability to obtain a Federal Background Investigation and Clearance.
