Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT systems including networks, databases, and security protocols
- Provide technical support to 200+ federal employees across multiple departments
- Implement cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive veteran data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT infrastructure upgrades
- Document system configurations and create technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with federal IT security standards (FISMA, NIST)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in federal IT systems administration
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain one)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud platforms
- CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Experience with federal IT procurement processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
