Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain enterprise systems, networks, and cybersecurity infrastructure
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for healthcare applications and databases
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive veteran health information
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT system upgrades and migrations
- Develop documentation for system configurations and operational procedures
- Ensure compliance with federal IT regulations and healthcare privacy standards
- Train staff on new technologies and system functionalities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure management
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Proficiency in network administration and cybersecurity protocols
- Familiarity with federal IT regulations (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Experience with healthcare information systems (EHR, VistA) preferred
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- U.S. citizenship required
