Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain advanced security measures to protect federal computer systems, networks, and sensitive data.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Manage and configure network security devices, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption tools.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for internal users and federal stakeholders.
- Document security configurations, incident reports, and compliance requirements in accordance with federal standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance is required.
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and cloud computing environments (AWS/Azure).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen per federal contracting requirements.
