Responsibilities
- Manage Federal Systems: Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of federal government IT systems and networks to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Cybersecurity Implementation: Apply security protocols and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP) to protect sensitive data and infrastructure.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support to internal staff and federal stakeholders, resolving complex issues efficiently.
- System Analysis: Analyze system performance and recommend improvements for scalability and efficiency.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams and incident reports.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and project managers to deliver project milestones on time.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments, system administration, or software development.
- Certifications: Active Security+ or CISSP certification is highly preferred.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), networking (Cisco/Juniper), and scripting languages (Python/Bash).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
