Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the agency's computer networks, hardware, and software systems.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Implement and enforce federal cybersecurity protocols and data protection measures.
- Provide technical support and training to staff members on various software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute IT infrastructure upgrades.
- Document technical procedures and system configurations for future reference.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen (required for federal employment).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional IT experience in a government or corporate environment.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent certifications are highly preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in network administration, Windows and Linux environments, and cloud technologies.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a suitable background investigation clearance.
