Responsibilities
- System Administration: Manage, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise-level IT systems and networks to ensure optimal performance.
- Cybersecurity Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols to safeguard sensitive federal data against cyber threats and ensure compliance with FISMA standards.
- Project Management: Lead IT modernization initiatives, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Technical Support: Provide expert technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders, resolving complex hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, including system diagrams, operational procedures, and security audits.
- Innovation: Research and evaluate emerging technologies to recommend solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of progressive experience in IT systems administration or software development within a federal or large-scale corporate environment.
- Certifications: Active Security+ or CISSP certification is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Python, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
