Responsibilities
- Implement NIST cybersecurity frameworks for VA systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Manage incident response protocols for security breaches
- Develop security awareness training programs
- Collaborate with federal agencies on joint security initiatives
- Ensure compliance with FISMA and FedRAMP requirements
Qualifications
- CISSP or Security+ certification required
- 5+ years of IT security experience
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight)
- Federal IT security compliance knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
