Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity frameworks across federal IT infrastructure
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified systems
- Develop incident response protocols for cyberattacks and data breaches
- Collaborate with NIST compliance teams for security accreditation
- Lead security awareness training for federal personnel
- Manage identity and access control systems (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP)
- Generate detailed security compliance reports for DHS leadership
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years experience in federal IT security environments
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification
- Expertise in NIST SP 800-53 security controls
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and vulnerability scanners
- Strong knowledge of FISMA and FedRAMP requirements
- Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance upon hire
