In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining and securing our federal information systems, ensuring seamless operations for veterans and healthcare professionals across the region.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and hardware/software systems.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect federal data and systems from cyber threats.
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and problem resolution for internal staff.
- Conduct regular system audits and perform preventive maintenance to ensure system availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade hardware and software infrastructure.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for federal employment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 3 years of progressively responsible IT experience.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Professional certification such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or Cisco CCNA.
- Strong knowledge of federal IT policies, standards, and regulations (FISMA, NIST).
