Responsibilities
- Lead cybersecurity operations including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response
- Implement and maintain federal security standards (NIST, FISMA) across agency networks
- Manage security information and event management (SIEM) systems
- Develop and execute security awareness training programs for federal employees
- Coordinate with federal partners on threat intelligence sharing and joint security initiatives
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for classified systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with federal government clearance
- CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification required
- Expertise in network security, cloud architecture (AWS/Azure), and endpoint protection
- Experience with federal compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST SP 800-53)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex security concepts
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DHS security clearance
