Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cybersecurity protocols
- Develop and implement secure cloud solutions compliant with federal regulations (FISMA, NIST)
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for VA healthcare systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades and compliance audits
- Document IT processes and create training materials for federal staff
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive security measures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience with federal IT systems and compliance requirements
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain one)
- Expertise in Windows Server, AWS/Azure, and cybersecurity frameworks
- Strong problem-solving skills with federal system integration experience
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
