Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain complex federal information systems and networks in compliance with strict government standards.
- Implement and monitor advanced security protocols to protect sensitive federal data against cyber threats.
- Provide high-level technical troubleshooting and support for hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with federal stakeholders to assess IT needs and optimize system performance.
- Ensure all technical operations adhere to federal regulations, security clearances, and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP).
- Conduct regular system audits and perform routine maintenance to ensure 99.9% uptime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT system administration, network engineering, or federal contracting.
- Strong understanding of federal IT security policies and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
