Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex federal information systems and network infrastructure.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal security standards, including FISMA, NIST, and CJIS protocols.
- Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for critical systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and scalability.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and system audits.
- Mentor junior engineers and document technical processes and configurations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in systems engineering, network administration, or IT support.
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- Strong proficiency in Linux, Windows Server, and virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
