Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure federal network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts to prevent cyber threats and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Perform complex troubleshooting and diagnostics on hardware, software, and network systems.
- Lead major system upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute IT security protocols.
- Document technical configurations, incidents, and resolutions in compliance with government standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent military experience).
- Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI access.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT operations or a related engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network security protocols.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
