Responsibilities
- Manage, troubleshoot, and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) across federal facilities.
- Monitor network performance to ensure high availability and security compliance.
- Provide technical support and training to government staff regarding hardware and software applications.
- Implement and enforce information security protocols and access controls.
- Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade systems and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (preferred for immediate consideration).
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, hardware, and operating systems (Windows Server, Linux).
- Experience with federal IT compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
