Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Implement and enforce data security protocols to protect sensitive government records.
- Provide technical support and training to county staff regarding software applications.
- Conduct regular system audits and security assessments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in government or enterprise IT environments.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Certification in CompTIA Security+ or CISSP is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
