Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure federal IT infrastructure and networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for classified systems
- Manage cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) with federal compliance standards (FedRAMP)
- Develop cybersecurity incident response protocols and execute mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on national security technology initiatives
- Ensure systems compliance with NIST, FISMA, and DHS security frameworks
- Mentor junior staff on federal IT governance best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in IT infrastructure with federal clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Advanced certifications: CISSP, Security+, and/or AWS/Azure FedRAMP
- Expertise in network security, cloud architecture, and incident response
- Demonstrated experience with federal compliance frameworks (FISMA/NIST)
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex security challenges
