Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-level cybersecurity initiatives including vulnerability assessments and incident response
- Design and maintain secure network architectures across federal systems
- Develop comprehensive IT policies and compliance frameworks (NIST, FISMA)
- Manage cloud migration projects for sensitive government data
- Coordinate with cross-agency teams for threat intelligence sharing
- Mentor junior IT staff on security best practices
- Conduct periodic system audits and penetration testing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of IT security experience in government or regulated industry
- Active CISSP or Security+ certification required
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and federal compliance standards
- Strong project management skills with PMP or similar certification
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
- Experience with federal procurement processes (FAR/DFARS)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell)
