Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure information technology systems and networks in support of mission operations.
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect the organization's computer systems, networks, and data.
- Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance with federal standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and improve system efficiency.
- Document technical procedures, system configurations, and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GSEC is highly preferred.
- Experience with network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
