Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure to support federal operations.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Enforce federal security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and software solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff and end-users.
- Document system configurations, changes, and incident reports in accordance with federal standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering and infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in Cisco IOS, Windows Server, and Linux environments.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with stakeholders.
