Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement secure network architectures to support agency operations.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues in real-time.
- Ensure compliance with federal security protocols and information security standards (FISMA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade legacy systems and integrate new technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff members.
- Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CISSP is highly preferred.
- Active or ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- Proven experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
