Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware and software components.
- Monitor network performance to ensure maximum uptime and security.
- Implement and maintain security protocols in compliance with federal standards (e.g., NIST).
- Provide advanced technical support and training to federal staff and stakeholders.
- Document network infrastructure changes and configurations for audit purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve IT service delivery.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for most federal positions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Active Security+ or CISSP certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration or system engineering.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- Strong understanding of federal IT policies and regulations.
