Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level software applications using Java and .NET.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for agency networks and systems.
- Analyze complex data sets to optimize system performance and user workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement secure, scalable technology solutions.
- Ensure strict compliance with New York State cybersecurity policies and data privacy regulations.
- Conduct regular system audits, performance testing, and preventive maintenance.
- Document technical processes and provide training to junior staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in software development or IT infrastructure support.
- Proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Strong understanding of state government regulations and data privacy laws (e.g., NY State laws).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to obtain a NY State security clearance and pass a background investigation.
