Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues for internal users.
- Manage and maintain server infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security compliance.
- Implement and enforce IT security protocols and data protection standards in accordance with state regulations.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate inventory of hardware and software assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology gaps and recommend innovative solutions.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on new software tools and security best practices.
- Monitor system performance and respond proactively to potential outages or security threats.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related technical field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred; or equivalent relevant experience.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office 365.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced government environment.
- U.S. Citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.
