Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT systems supporting veteran healthcare services
- Manage cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity protocols for federal compliance
- Lead IT modernization projects including migration to cloud-based platforms
- Provide technical support to staff and troubleshoot complex system issues
- Develop documentation for IT policies and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies
- Ensure all systems meet federal security standards (NIST/FISMA)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain Secret clearance)
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Experience with federal IT compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or AWS/Azure preferred)
