Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, and in-person for hardware and software issues.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity and security protocols within the Active Directory environment.
- Manage inventory and asset tagging for all county IT equipment.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in the Service Desk ticketing system.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- CompTIA A+ Certification or equivalent technical knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (10/11) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
