Your Role
The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency and citizen engagement.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications and APIs using Java, C#, and .NET Core.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and security standards.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and implement performance optimizations.
- Ensure all code is scalable, maintainable, and follows industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, and ASP.NET Core.
- Experience with SQL Server and database design/optimization.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, React, or Angular.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
