Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues faced by agency staff.
- Manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and security protocols within Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Conduct regular hardware inventory audits and coordinate the procurement of necessary IT equipment.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and incident reports in the Help Desk ticketing system to ensure knowledge base accuracy.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement new software updates and security patches across the organization.
- Respond to incoming support tickets via phone, email, and in-person with a focus on rapid resolution and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in technical support, help desk, or IT administration.
- Proficient in troubleshooting Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and standard business applications.
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and basic router configuration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a diverse team environment.
- Must possess a valid Georgia driver’s license and a clean driving record.
