Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, and in-person to county employees.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues in a timely manner.
- Perform hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Manage and maintain the Service Desk ticketing system, ensuring accurate logging and tracking of incidents.
- Conduct regular system audits and assist in the deployment of new IT assets across the organization.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement security patches and system updates.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT help desk, technical support, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, and troubleshooting procedures.
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent technical certification is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
